Bakers' Acres began as a modest, family business for Bob and Jackie Baker and their daughter, Reenie Baker Sandsted in 1980. Today it is one of the largest herb and perennial growers in Central New York, as well as offering annuals, everlastings, trees, shrubs, apples, cider and garden supplies and gifts.
The Garden Room
In 1994,The Garden
Room and Antique and Gift Shop in the Lodge at Bakers' Acres were added to the orchard, greenhouses, beautiful Display Gardens and Garden Center.
Located on the grounds of Bakers' Acres, The Garden Room is next door to our greenhouses and beneath the Country Antique & Gift shops in the Lodge. It offers a relaxed, country atmosphere which accommodates up to 45 people. Our outdoor pavilion seats up to 100 people. From our outdoor terrace surrounded by planters filled with herbs and edible flowers, you can see our display gardens, growing fields and apple orchard. The Garden Room is also an ideal place to hold weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday or anniversary parties or any special occasion you may have.
